Songs of Awakening

R&V is delighted to present a second series of music videos, this time recorded in partnership with our friends at the Romanian Cultural Institute in London. Designed to welcome in the spring, this features the sopranos Rose Stachniewska and Lotte Betts-Dean and the pianist Cristian Sandrin, captured by the film maker Chris Lincé. The series will feature songs and piano pieces by the composers Enescu, Debussy, Chausson and Ravel. You can view the first series of videos An invitation to a journey below.

An invitation to a journey

In the midst of the pandemic the Rimbaud and Verlaine Foundation brought four artists together at Lauderdale House in London to record a series of classical songs: the soprano Rose Stachniewska, baritone Julien Van Mellaerts, pianist Florent Mourier and film maker Chris Lincé.
